Animal farm by George Orwell was one of the best books of the 20th century not only because of the well articulated story line but also because of the deep political message it carried .
The book was banned in some countries such as Russia and the United States because it told of the communist belief and the incumbent revolution in Russia as at when the book was written.
However , since Animal Farm is a free book in Nigeria , then we are at liberty to make literal comparison of Animal Farm with the current Nigeria based on our perspective - but I start first then leave you intelligent guys to compare and judge the rest characters.

1.OLD MAJOR: The visionary prize middle boar who was highly regarded and everyone will make any sacrifice to hear what he had to say. He was the major inspiration for the Rebellion in Animal farm. He was the dreamer of freedom.

2.MOSES: The tame raven who spread stories of Sugarcandy mountain and the paradise to which animals supposedly go when they die.
These are our religious leaders (pastors and imams) who exploits religion as a tool with which to pacify the oppressed .

4. Comrade Snowball : The pig who was in challenge for the control of the Animal Farm. Snowball is intelligent, passionate, eloquent and less subtle but he was chased out .

7.Comrade Squealer: The pig who spreads Napoleon's propaganda . He justifies the pigs' monopolization of resources and spreads false statistics pointing to the farm's success . He is used to use rhetoric and language to twist the truth .He would even shed tears of praises at the mention of his leaders name .
The minister of Information , Lai Mohammed, always good at pointing the blame fingers at snowball. That's why each day we keep getting success stories from the government but we never see positive changes

8.Benjamin: The donkey who refuses to feel inspired . He believes firmly that life would remain unpleasant no matter who is in power .
The pessimistic Nigerians and mostly youths who has no interest in the management of their political system. They are the worst illiterate . They pride themselves on their political ignorance and stick out their chest to say 'I hate politics '

9.The seven commandments : The commandment that was wisely stated and easily twisted to suit the pigs situation . It was occasionally changed as other animals couldn't remember what was written there though boldly written on a tarred wall.

No, we are all hardworking, good spirited , dedicated Comrade boxer but we have been reduced to paupers by Those pigs, who acts only in their selfish interest, looting and justifying it at the court. Of course Boxer could recite only A B C D , each time he tried to add E F G H , he would forget the first four letters. It is a weakness the pigs are using against us but yet we refused to realize it . After every of their atrocities, they will walk free because they have the means of twisting the commandments.
