Defending champions Real Madrid will face city rivals Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals of theChampions League The holders beat their neighbors to lift the trophy last year, but this time round, there can only be one Madrid team in the final in Cardiff. The Spanish clubs also met in 2014 final, which Real’s Galacticos also won. The draw for the semi-finals of the in Nyon in Switzerland also pitted Juventus against Monaco. Two-time champions Juve are bidding to return to the final since losing to Barcelona in 2015. Monaco is in the last four for the first time since they lost 2004 final to FC Porto.
