WE RUN TOGETHER IN CHRISTIANITY

It’s been said over time that the race run in Christianity is individual; well, yes in a sense, but not in general. Individuality has its place in our Christian race, but the most part of it is JOINT. We move together as a force, watching each other’s back; we fasten our eyes on our tracks, and also the tracks of those running together beside us.
Unlike the 100m Olympian race run by professional athletes, where a sprinter is tabooed from crossing his tracks into another’s; Christians are permitted to jump right into the tracks of co-runners to sharpen and lift them up when they fall. We run not against ourselves, but with ourselves, and for ourselves (one another).
No! You can’t describe this race as individual, when the judge of the race qualifies the plight of the one that runs alone with a big WOE (Eccl 4:9-10). In fact the judge of this race makes us understand our capacity is altered positively with increase in our numbers (Deu. 32:30, Matt. 18:19).
You can’t describe the race as individual, when we are all described as one body (1Cor. 12:12).
It can’t be individual, if we can only be called a church when we are at least two or three(Matt. 18:20).
Jesus didn’t send any of his disciples out alone. He sent them in twos.
The truth is: together is the only way and how. Even when we sin we can confess to one another (1John 5:16). Our gifts and spirituality are for the edification of each other (Eph. 4:12). We have been set as watch men over ourselves , and whistle blowers over ourselves (Ezekiel 3:17-27). When we stand together as a force, weaknesses are hidden and cured. We stop barriers when our hands are locked together in unity. Don’t forget the greatest thing that has happened to the world is the “unity of the trinity”. Their consciousness of “US” made us. Glory!! NEVER WALK ALONE!!
