No fewer than 20​ people died ​at the weekend in Oku-Iboku, Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State following an attack by hoodlums from Ikot Offiong community, Odukpani Local Government Area of Cross River State.

If the soldiers had "opened fire" on the hoodlums, you would still have come here and accuse them of killing those 20 in addition to the hoodlums they would have killed.

Sometimes, if people are attacking themselves it is even better the soldiers allow them to finish themselves before they are accused of innocent killing since people have learnt the art of blackmailing security agencies through social media.

Very soon, we will begin to see the consequences of our actions.
