The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has released guidelines for the nomination of candidates for June 22, 2017, Local government elections.
The party in the release made available to the public has stated the for the post of Chairmanship, the aspirants will have to pay Expression Interest 2,000 Naira and Nomination of 555,000 Naira while the for the post of Councillorship will have to pay Expression Interest 2,000 Naira and Nomination 155,000 Naira. Both categories will equally pay 5,000 Naira for administration fee.

However, in line with the party manifesto that promises to ”Guarantee that women are adequately represented in government appointments and provide greater opportunities in education, job creation, and economic empowerment”, Lagos APC has stated that female aspirants will be exempted from the fees
