Dr. Clifford Iroanya has created a new pirate radio (Radio Biafra International) as he struggles to take over the leadership of IPOB from the Nnamdi Kanu who has been in detention since 2016. He is backed by some top members of IPOB leadership, such as Barrister Emma Nmezu, who wants a new direction to the struggle. It is not still clear if the action by Dr. Clifford was money oriented.
