THE Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB) said yesterday that the bail granted the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was a kind of soft landing for the federal government to overcome the mounting pressure against it on the matter.

Photo by Gbemiga Olamikan MASSOB leader, Mr. Uchenna Madu, while speaking on the bail conditions, expressed optimism that Kanu would certainly overcome the obstacles because he represented the genuine interest of Ndigbo.

According to Madu, there were credible Igbo senators and Jewish religious leaders who could sign the surety for Nnamdi Kanu, adding that identifying with Kanu meant standing for the Igbo.

He said: “We still have credible senators who can never be intimidated because of the conditions of the bail granted to Nnamdi Kanu. MASSOB is also not entertaining any fear over the stringent bail conditions because we know that the people of Biafra are capable of surmounting any difficulty against the actualization and restoration of Biafra.
