Thanks a lot. I applied for environmental option and till now no mail, neither has my department decision on application status changed.

I'll just rest my case at this point. I however scored high on the English proficiency test and the departmental exam seemed a walk over for me.

Acceptance fee payment has not commenced. After recommendation mail, admission mail from PG school is next before payment of acceptance fee

Was your eligibility status on your application status yes? If it's not, it might be the cause, but if it is yes then you just have to be patient. I don't think all dept has been sent mail.
