Nollywood star, Mercy Aigbe-Gentry is rumoured to be having a crisis in her marriage. Sources stated it that her 7-year-old marriage to Lagos based hotelier, Lanre Gentry is about to hit the rocks. Here's all we heard about her marital issue:

1. Mercy Aigbe-Gentry is a victim of domestic violence.

2. The actress posted  a cryptic message about domestic violence on Instagram.
Shortly before the pictures surfaced online,  Mercy Aigbe posted a message on domestic violence on Instagram, which indicates that indeed their is trouble in their home. See below what the actress posted:

'Say NO to DOMESTIC VIOLENCE...... Only a Coward hits a woman! REAL MEN don't HIT!'

3. Her husband accused her of being irresponsible.
Immediately the actress hinted us about the crisis looming in her home, her husband, Lanre Gentry, replied to the post. In his words, he stated 'Say No to the promiscuous and irresponsible women'.

4. She has suffered domestic violence in times past
Sources stated that she has been a victim of domestic violence in times past,  but the actress used to refute the claims. At a time, a video of her swollen face was all over the Internet,  but she denied that her husband beat her.

5. There's no smoke without fire
Sources stated that a particular fair-skinned lady named Opemititi, who used to be close to Mercy Aigbe is the cause of her marital issues. Rumours says that her husband has been frolicking with this lady. We heard that the said Opemititi is Gentry's mistress.

Investigative Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, once warned Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe of a possible marriage crash. Kemi who advised the actress to spend more time with her husband in 2016, wrote;
