May Day: Gombe Workers Hail Dankwambo

The Gombe State workers hailed Governor Dankwambo for his love and passion to the civil Servants in the State.

Speaking during the May Day celebration at Pantami Stadium, the Gombe State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Aliyu Kamara has commended Governor Dankwambo for prompt payment of workers Salaries in the State.

Comrade Kamara appreciated the commitment of Dankwambo Administration to the general welfare of the civil Servants, especially his approval of N2 billion for the payment of gratuities of the retired civil servants of the State.

In a speech by the acting Governor of Gombe State, Hon. Charles Iliya, Governor Dankwambo commended workers for their support to his administration and assured them for the immediate implementation of the N56, 000 minimum wage if the Fedral Government approves.
