somebody life savings just evaporated just because someone decided to cut corners. Maybe the owner did cut corners or maybe the person he put in charged did. The fact is that there was corners cutting which resulted in millions of naira going down the drain. This is really painful.

That building collapsed sometime February/March this year. I live along that road.
I told my guy last year that the building would collapse when we were walking past it as I just pray people will not be inside when it happens and I guess you all know why

the owner is very wicked. He should be charged for attempted manslaughter.
That building has been there for years as a bungalow but the greedy owner decided to add more floors to it

If That is the case, then i agree with you 100%.

But i still believe not just the owner should be held accountable. A buider that is worth his salt should know that the structure wont held and therefore refused to build. I think if everybody that is culpable in such incidents are held accountable it will reduced the number of collapsing structures.
