Back when Kylian Mbappe was 14 and playing for amateur club Bondy, English Premier League club Chelsea had the chance to sign him up. But the Blues turned down the chance - for just £17,000.


The France international visited Stamford Bridge four years ago but Chelsea snubbed him in order to promote local academy prospects Dominic Solanke and Tammy Abraham.

At the time Mbappe was playing for amateur French side Bondy, where his dad Wilfried was a coach.

Now, the 18-year-old has become one of the most sought after talents in the world - with Manchester United, Arsenal, Real all vying to sign him this summer.
