A newly established business, located in Ijebu Ode, we aim to specialise in the organic growing of fruits, herbs and vegetables for future harvesting towards the retail
market

We are currently looking for an experienced farm/horticulture worker for an initial nine month contract. Applicant must have good understanding of organic farming practise, soil culture fertilisers and treatment, through to harvesting; with an emphasis on seedling nutrition and plant sciences.

Relevant qualification in agricultural science would be beneficial but not necessary, previous experience in farm management, fruit growing and horticulture planting would be helpful. An excellent communication skills is necessary.


Responsibilities

• General farm maintenance.
• Be able to carry out most arable operations.
• Landscaping
• Preparation and application of organic crop treatment and monitoring of development
• Keeping records of crop performance for weekly/monthly management reports
• The supervision of seasonal labour.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload.

Salary:

A competitive salary package is on offer to reflect the role's responsibilities. This is
dependent on the applicant's individual experience.
