Remo Stars Fatai Osho says his hope was dashed when his side suffered a -0 defeat to Rivers United at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium on Wednesday in a Nigeria Professional Football League rescheduled game.

Benard Ovoke scored the only goal that separated both sides in the 41st minute and the Sky Blue Stars boss claims his side are in a difficult position on the log, but must work hard to correct their mistakes.

Remo are seated at the base of the log with 19 points from 19 games – an average of one point per match, but coach Osho believes they must return to the drawing board to correct their errors before the second half of the season kicks off later this month.

“We had high expectations coming into this game but it was sad that we lost, we fought so hard but for us to have lost the match is not really good for us,” Osho said after the game.
