VALUEFRONTEIRA LTD (www.valuefronteira.com) a consulting firm of economists and financial analysts providing strategic information and solutions to businesses, governments and economic institutions. We are seeking 8 consultants for immediate start for the position described below.



Background and summary of position:

Our Client, a state government, requests the development of a report focusing on the strategic position of the state across three spatial tiers (country, sub-region, continents). The report will require extensive data analysis and presentation. Prospective candidates will work for 3 weeks to assist in preparing various aspects of the document.



Qualifications: Consultants with advanced degree in social sciences (preferably economics) are required. Expertise and interest in any of the following areas will be an added advantage: 1) International Trade 2) Business enterprise/trade and investment 3) Urban and regional economics 4) Population and demography 5) Labour markets and employment 6) Environment and sustainablility issues Infrastructure



Person specification:

Knowledgeable and experienced in a variety of research processes and methodology (mandatory).

Ability to comprehend statistical data and be adept at presenting this information in a manner that is understandable to the applicable audience(s) (mandatory).

Excellent oral and writing skills (mandatory).

At least 5 years working experience researching and writing for national governments or international agencies (desirable).
