Remember that English is not our mother tongue. As long as she can communicate with people and be understood, that's OK.

(Perhaps you don't know that many Chinese expatriates here cannot make a COMPLETE sentence in English)

Look at it another way: she actually TYPED all that herself. So she could be good with her HANDS.

What if her skills lie in some practical hand craft, like sewing dresses, designing works of art or baking delicious pastries?

But maybe someone has told her she must be in some high-sounding career and so she must get a university degree.

Let's stop forcing people into careers where they'll keep playing catch-up all their lives.
