Recently we all saw the mb result from unn where a whole lot of the students, part 3 medical students, failed.

Oau just released her part 4 medical parasitology result and a huge 96.3% failed. !!

Something is going downhill education-wisely. People don't fail this much in medical school in saner climes.

How won't they fail when they spend most of their time on social media and trying to be FTC on Nairaland. Gone are those days when student especially medi student are serious and intelligent this day thing have change. Not true....those medical students can read anything. If anyone solely rely on your assertion then the person may be mislead.
The fact that they failed this course do not mean they did not read well enough.

You have to consider the following factors
- error in exam hall
- insensitive of lecturers
- ill health of students
- etc

And you think you're a better student because you didn't spend ample time on SM?

When there's a mass failure, a huge chunk of the blame if not all should go to the lecturers.

This really isn't cool...

They expect them to know or cram names of all parasites, chemicals, etc

When these are things in a book..
Why will I need to cram what i can readily find in a book..

They should spend more time teaching them to be good doctors and not cramming nonsense
