I remember there was global noise and adulation for the then GEJ led Federal Government when they decided to distribute 10 million mobile phones to farmers. The vanguard story below is a link to that story http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/02/nigeria-ten-million-mobile-phones-for-farmers/ I'm currently writing a paper on mobile technology in African agriculture and will be grateful if anybody can fill me in on how that program fared.
