LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT URGES STAFF UNION TO CALL OFF STRIKE

At the resolution meeting today May 8th 2017, the Lagos state government urged the staff unions of the Lagos state polytechnic to call off thier strike actions and resume back to work.

The special adviser to the governor of Lagos state on education assured students union leaders that the Lagos state government is committed to resolving the issue at hand.

The Governor of Lagos state Mr Akinwunmi Ambode also intervened and we are confident that with his intervention the issue would be resolved soonest. However are still waiting for the decision of ASUP and NASU.

Another meeting as been scheduled for Wednesday 10th of May 2017.
