@canachy
that's a great idea. how about collaboration on a technology kinda portal. where all Nigerian technology professionals and hobbyists can come and discuss and share ideas. that is in addition to tutorials.
i believe if we're going to 'launch Nigeria into the technology arena' as you said, then all of us must work together since there so few of us practicing high-tech in Nigeria.

You are right, microscale. It cannot be a one man show. United We Stand! I believe together we can do it (against all odds) and we shall do it.

Hiya all microcontroller lovers

Good to hear Nigerians are getting into micro-controllers. We are coming up with a project that would provide you with all the information you would need to get started with microcontrollers. for more information you can contact us at info@aadvark.com.ng

I love this topic.

My first wife is my PC, my siblings are my 8051, PIC, AVR, FPGA, PLC development boards and finaly my children are my projects (SMS Remote controller, RFID security and Library system, etc). Dont mind my jagons, am only saying i program microcontroller (8051, PIC, and AVR in assembly C/C++ and Flowcode), FPGA (Altera CycloneII and IV in VHDL, Verilog HDL) and PLC (TRI PLC (PTS F100 Super PLC)and Allen Bradley (SLC 500) in ladder Logic and Basic).

Re: Microcontroller Programming Corner by AmaLearner(m): 6:55pm On Mar 13, 2015
Is there any main language that Microcontrollers use?
Re: Microcontroller Programming Corner by AmaLearner(m): 6:56pm On Mar 13, 2015
After skimming through all these posts, i see i am still at level one. . . . . . I am actually aiming toward programming a robot that runs with a microcontroller as its brain. I have a good knowledge of BASIC, a little one J2ME. Please where do i start ?

Start by learning C programming language for microcontroller and embedded systems

Yes, ANSI C most preferable for micro-controllers. Additionally, arming yourself with C++ and python wouldn't be a bad idea either.
