“The Amalfi coast is where I often find creative inspiration for my collections; the scenery, the weather, the food, the fashion - all so beautiful,” Australian designer Rebecca Vallance tells us of her starting point for her exclusive Net-A-Porter capsule collection.

Launching May 15, the summer-tinged collection is in true Vallance style – think perfect tailoring and pretty summer dresses designed for escaping to the Italian seaside.

The capsule is a coupe for Vallance who only joined the Net-A-Porter line-up in 2016 but whose big success has led to the capsule.

“Ladylike dressing with a sophisticated edge are a key foundation to each piece and reminiscent of the chic Dolce La Vita lifestyle. Hot coral pieces inspired by the beautiful sunsets that fall deep into the navy Positano sea. Crochet imitation lace in soft pinks and crisp whites are trimmed with a nautical navy and white stripe, bringing the totality of a luxury coastal vibe together and giving a true Italian inspired collection,” says Vallance of the collection.

“The Breakers bow midi and Macarti fit and fare mini!” confirms Vallance

“We worked with her on this capsule as we have seen a tremendous response from our global customers after our initial launch this past fall. Rebecca’s design aesthetic perfectly embodies how so many of our women want to dress for the multitude of occasions during the summer months. Her silhouettes are always beautifully tailored to flatter and feature those all-important elevated details that have a strong fashion twist,” Net-A-Porter’s retail fashion director Lisa Aiken says of the capsule.
