Photos of Mount Rushmore before and during sculpting.

Also attached is a scaled model on the site of what the final sculpture was supposed to look like including the busts. Sculpting had to stop at the heads due to shortage of funds.

The mount features sculpted heads of US presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln, in order from left to right
