faladeSM1132:The problem is there's no alternative. All politicians are the same. Gone are the days where people go into politics to be remembered as great men. They make promises to getin power and then do the opposite once elected. |

If this story is true, then Akeredolu has lost it. How can he ask workers to forefeit their salary arrears? Whoever does that? And to think that he is only few months on the job! He has started on a wrong footing. In case he do not know, he should be informed that civil servants do not forefeit their salaries anywhere in the world. They can be owed but their emolument is never forefeited for whatever reason. Is Akeredolu from another planet? |

Aketi is funny sha, you struck a deal with Mimiko no to probe the past administration, so Eyitayo Jegede will not challenge your election in court. Mimiko looted the state treasury, Aketi made promises he couldn't keep. And now Ondo state workers must suffer for it. My country my country. Naija I hail thee. 1 Like |

This man is a joker, can our federal law makers waive their over bloated entitlements? Well its up to the workers of Ondo state to decide if they want to be screwed again by the new administration. This is an insult to the collective intelligence of the workers. This is what happens when we elect bad leaders who are accountable to no one.

If the backlog of salaries is that much, then EFCC ought to invite Fmr Gov Olusegun Mimiko,Mimiko ruled Ondo at the height of the oil boom when federal allocation was regular and claims he left 10billion in state treasury for Arakunrin Akeredolu. Is it that in 8years,he couldnt put in place a solid template for IGR?Yet he was commissioning primary school. |

He said the government workers must be prepared to “pay the sacrifices” of waiving their salaries as part of their own contributions to the economic development of the state Mr Governor, you can also pay some sacrifices for the sake of politics and pay the workers with your monthly allowances and part of your salary. 1 Like |
