A young woman was arrested after she was caught selling her baby. The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) has opened the lid on a child selling network in Lagos. Officials of RRS have arrested Miss Onyinyechi Osoneye, 22, for selling her day old baby. Osoneye was arrested with six others. The mother of the baby boy and others were arrested on May 10, 2017. This was confirmed by the Commander of RRS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu. According to the Vanguard, Onyinyechi Osoneye allegedly hid the pregnancy from her father with her mother’s knowledge.
