Be intelligent and noble. Know the truth and strive in following it. Hold on to it with your molar teeth and if somebody errs – whoever it may be, may Allah bless you, Ibn Bāz, Ibn Taymīyyah or other than them of the scholars who are alive, if he errs we respect him – if he is a salafī – but we do not accept his error nor do we give it any consideration regardless of who it is, and whoever is in accordance to the truth we aid him and support him upon the truth. Allah says :

“Help one another in righteousness and piety and do not help one another in sin and transgression.” (Q 5:2)

Many of those who plot against you, they facilitate for the youth to help one another in sin and transgression. So then fear Allah O youth, and build the brotherhood between you and know the truth from its correct sources and help you one another in al-Birr and al-Taqwa and aid this Daʿwah (Al-Salafīyyah) and spread it, for the ummah is in dire need of it; rather the disbelievers from the Jews and Christians are in dire need of it, and if Allah guides by way of you one man, it is better for you than red camels.

I ask Allah that he makes us all from the sincere callers and from the trusted truthful advisers Verily our Lord Hears the supplication. And may peace and blessings be upon Muhammad, His household and companions.

This is why i usually laugh when some individuals say "Saudi" does this or that, ibn taymiyyah said this and so on, even if it is wrong, salafis are not blind followers, it was related that ibn Qayyim once disagreed with his teacher who happened to be ibn taymiyyah, saying he(ibn taymiyyah) was not upon the truth on this issue(that was being discussed)....

When when ibn Qayyim was defining ilm(knowledge) in his poem, he said "mal ilm wat taqlidu yastawiyaani" "(gaining) knowledge and blind following are not the same" he went on "al-ilm qaala Allaahu qaala rasuluhu, qaalas sahabatu" "knowledge is (knowing what) Allaah says, what the prophet said, what the sahabas said"

So Islam shouldn't be on blind following, imam maalik laid down a very important principle:

"Kullun yu'khadu min kalaamihi wa yutrak illa saahibu hadhal qabri"

"Everyone(including himself who made the statement) has some speech that should be taken and some that should be left alone except the companion of this grave (he was pointing to the grave of the prophet sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam that day)"...

^^^^As regards this, thank you very much!

Sheikh Muhammad Al Madkhalee also said concerning Sheikh Muhammad Saleh Al Uthaymeen(rahimahullâh) that he made mistake during the second sitting, no one is perfect, so he doesn't follow the Sheikh on this.

Saudi Arabia(the land of tawheed) tries its utmost best to be right but there's bound to be mistakes. They're not perfect, however, their mistakes shouldn't be an avenue for making takfeer, cursing, chest beating and the likes!

Sheikh Ibn Hazm Al Andalusi(rahimahullâh) was one of those who influenced Sheikh Al Albani(rahimahullâh) but Sheikh Al Albani refused to follow the part of Ibn Hazm where he allowed music.

We're not blindfollowers!
