Ever wondered why your blog doesn't showcase on search engine when someone makes a search using a keyword related to your niche? I receive complaints from people about this issue. Well the simple reason is that you haven't submitted your site and sitemap to the search engine in question (Google). I do ask myself... What's the point of having a unique and a quality post without any audience? Just like cultivalting on a rock and expecting a seed to germinate. Today in this post, I'll share with your guys how you can submit your site to Google webmaster tool for crawling and indexing of your blog post. Also, how to submit your sitemap to the webmasters tool, how you can monitor your search index reports. But before then, BENEFIT OF SUBMITTING YOUR SITE TO GOOGLE 1. Increases blog visible: The dream of every web owner is to rank high on search engines when someone make a search using a keyword related to your niche. Google webmasters provide free optimization and indexing. 2. Increases traffic and daily page views: A fully indexed blog shows in search engine results. Whether or not the reader clicks on your link, as long as your URL shows on the search engine PV are increased on your blog. 3. Increases earnings (for a monetized blog): As simple as that. Increase in page views increases begets increase in earnings. 4. Select a target audience: Depending on what you are blogging on. Google webmasters lets you select a country for which your content will be indexed and when audiences from targeted countries make a search, your website will most likely rank high in google. Or press Ctrl+F to search> Then input <head> then press enter » Paste the verification code you copied below the head tag> Click on save theme » Go back to Google webmaster and click on verify > Your website will be added WORDPRESS USERS 1. Login to your Wordpress Dashboard 2. Click on Settings>> Click on Traffic 3. Paste the code you copied inside Google as seen in the image below 4.
