The Real Madrid forward, Christiano Ronaldo surpassed Jimmy Greaves' tally of 366 goals in Europe's top five leagues, netting his 367th and 368th in a 4-1 win over Celta Vigo in La Liga on Wednesday night.

Record aside though, plenty remain split between determining who is the better player: Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.

While comparisons distract from the spectacle of watching two of the greatest ever footballers in action, we couldn't help but see how the two compare in front of goal in recent years.
