Lagos and Rivers States celebrates 50 years of existence. The theme of the celebration for Lagos is far more unique and entertaining, with emphasis on strengthening the existing unity - connectors. For instance, one of the states invited world class entertainer from Europe - Riders to display. People saw live shows of those actions we only see in movies, everyone - old and young irrespective of their parents State was involved at the same level. The same day, the other state had traditional dancers from the LGA's in the State. A state where security is an issue, social services are not standardized, political, social and economic unity of the people is weak. What are the benefits of these celebration for the states and the people? What message do they - the leaders intend to pass to the people and the outside world? what is the feeling of the people in those states on this subject?
