59 education savvy inmates of the Ikoyi Prison sat for this year’s Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Examination. This is an improvement on the number (32) recorded last year.

The Principal of Ikoyi Prison School Mr Idris Ibikunle says he expects a better performance from the candidates.

He noted that “Many of the candidates registered for the exam because they saw the need to secure their future and prepare for reintegration into the society after the expiration of their prison time.
