You do realise that the only people whose payment of taxes is absolutely gauranteed in Nigeria are the civil servants. Their taxes are deducted at source even before they are paid. And this is the same people govt continues to shortchange and cheat

Tax everyone.

Just the effects of living on one revenue stream.

If we want to have enough money for salaries....short term, since oil is not going up to 100 and above we have to

1.Increase taxes

2.Increase taxes

3.Increase taxes

4.Or start retrenching excess staff in the Civil service. (It is bloated anyway).

APC govt better hurry up and diversify the economy....or else they may have to make choices they won't like.

Like number 5: Take a big fat loan from the IMF....payable for an infinite number of years.(Don't worry....Mother IMF loves her slaves very much).
do u tink retrenching will be d best solution or dey are causing more harms

According to our investigations, the total volume of the arrears for 2013, 2014 and 2015 amounted to N48 billion, which was considered too huge to be settled in one fell swoop.

Illiterates suffering from comprehension-related ailments will soon come and explain how this is Bubu's fault.

it's not Buhari's fault but please read

Further investigations revealed that the authorities resolved to commence the payment in installments. The sum of N12.3 billion, representing the arrears for 2013, was subsequently included in the 2016 budget virement which was passed by the National Assembly, but the payment was never made.
“The truth is that the labour unions across the MDAs have been agitated over the matter. They even held meetings with the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, during which they received assurances that the money will be paid.
