The Kano State House of Assembly has suspended probe of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II.
The Emir was initially being investigated over the complaints of “questionable expenditures and financial misappropriations” estimated at N3.4 billion.
But the House has decided to drop the probe after Kano State governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, pleaded on behalf of the emir.
Ganduje did not act alone. Here are the individuals who prevailed on the House to stop the Investigation:
The Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, a lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
President of the Nigerian Senate, Bukola Saraki.
Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representative, Yakubu Dogara.
Governor of Kano State Abdullahi Ganduje
Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, the spiritual leader of Nigeria’s seventy million Muslims.
Retired –General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, former head of state and Grand Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Retired-General Abdulsalami Abubakar, former head of State and Grand Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man and CEO of Dangote Group
Aminu Dantata, Nigerian businessman and promoter of Kano State Foundation

To what purpose did they have to derail such probe...?
It means there is something to hide and an obvious obstruction of justice...
When we are always referring to USA...let it be in totality naa

What is the probe for in the first instance? Is it to probe why and how Sanusi Lamido Sanusi said that the Northern elites are intentionally continuously impoverishing the masses and grooming Almajaris who will serve the elites forever? Or because he said that Arabic Schools and Mosques should be converted to regular schools to educated the large illiterate masses? Dear O.P., your sanity is in question.

The probe was to silence a voice of dissent, another voice of common-sense!
