Nairalanders in the house pls I need your help. I paid a lawyer in February to file a case for me in the court, which he failed to do almost 3 months after.following the undue delay, I now asked him to refund my money, till date he has been making one failed promise to another to refund me after we had agreed he refund 70% of the sum I paid to him.what actions can I take to compel him to refund my money?

First of all, write an official letter of demand through a lawyer that will serve as an evidence later. Then, after seven days of no response, action may be instituted to recover the said money.
