Countries Nigerians can travel to without visa:

This is a comprehensive list of countries where Nigerians can travel to without a visa. Are you a Nigerian passport holder and wish to travel abroad without a visa? Then, this list is for you! These are the 23 countries nationals of Nigeria can travel without visa and 18 visa on arrival as of 2015. You should be informed that visa on arrival is not visa-free.



Here Are Countries Nigerians travel without visa

1. Barbados

Visa not required, except if you want to stay for more than 6 months. Passport is required and must be valid for not less than 6 months. Additional Information: Visitors are required to hold proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay and documents/ticket required for your next destination. Visitors not holding return/onward tickets will be refused entry.

2. Benin

Visa not required, except if you want to stay for more than 90 days. Passport or temporary passports required.

3. Burkina Faso Visa not required.

Passport or passport replacing documents must be valid for the period of intended stay.

Additional Information: Visitors are required to hold documents required for their next destination. Visitors not holding return/onward ticket could be refused entry


4. Cameroon

Visa not required except if you want to stay for more than 90 days. Passport or passport replacing documents must be valid on arrival. Holders of temporary or emergency passports are accepted. Admission and Transit Restrictions: Admission and transit refused to visitors, arriving from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

5. Cape Verde

Passport and/or passport replacing documents must be valid for the period of the intended stay. Holders of ID Cards issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to foreign mission personnel are accepted. Admission and Transit Restrictions: Admission and transit refused to visitors arriving from Guinea, Liberia, Senegal and Sierra Leone.

6. Chad

Visa not required except if you want to stay for more than 3 months. Passport and/or passport replacing documents must be valid on arrival. Holders of emergency or temporary passports are accepted. Admission and Transit Restrictions: Admission and transit refused to visitors arriving from Congo (Dem. Rep.), Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.

Additional Information: Visitors are required to hold documents for their next destination. Visitors not holding return/onward ticket could be refused entry.

7. Côte d’Ivoire

Visa not required. Passport or passport replacing documents must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the period of intended stay. Visitors are required to hold proof of hotel accommodation and all documents required for their next destination. Additional Information: All visitors arriving in Cote d’Ivoire are subject to screening and health checks. Passengers may be quarantined for further assessment.

8. Dominica

Visa not required except if you want to stay for more than 6 months.

9. Vanuatu

Visa not required except if you want to stay for more than 30 days. Passport and/or passport replacing documents must be valid at least 6 months from the date of arrival.
