Not less than 50 popular artistes will perform at the grand finale of Lagos at 50 celebration at Eko Atlantic on Sunday.



Some of the notable Nigerian artistes who will perform on sunday night are juju music maestros – King Sunny Ade and Evangelist Ebenezer Obey as well as Sir Victor Olaiya, the legendry Highlife patriarch.



The list continues with popular hip pop artistes which include the IF crooner, Davido; Alobam singer, Phyno; Waka Music star, Queen Salawa Abeni.



Others are Olamide, Humble Smith, Adekunle Gold, Lil Kesh, Partoranking, Banky W, Runtown, Vanessa, MI, Eedris Abdulkareem, Mr. Eazi, DJ Spinall and many more.



Fuji artistes are not left out in the celebration. Those that makes the list are Adewale Ayuba, Abass Akande Obesere and Wasiu Alabi (Pasuma Wonder).



A statement signed by Mr. Steve Ayorinde, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, disclosed that there would be fireworks as part of the celebration.



”This is to inform the public that there will be a display of fireworks as part of the music and fashion show to round off the 50thAnniversary Celebrations of the State.



“The fireworks will be on display at exactly 12 midnight at the Eko Atlantic City during the Golden Concert.



“Residents do not need to panic or nurse any fear whatsoever when they hear the sound of the fireworks as it is only just a symbolic way to draw the curtains of what has been a very splendid and successful celebration of our golden state.’’
