The All Progressive Congress, APC, councillorship primaries involving 377 wards in Lagos state was extremely violent even as one person died and dozens more injured.

Ejigbo Local Government Area, Ikeja, Mushin, Oshodi-Isolo, some parts of Agege and Amuwo-odofin, after the most violent in the exercise as candidates emerge, disagreement and tempers flared leading to postponement in some areas.

The Shogunle area of Lagos recorded the demise of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, leader popularly known as Hamburger, by a rival union and supporters of one of the aspirants in Oshodi/Isolo local government.
