Arsenal have reportedly agreed a deal for
Nigerian youngster Henry Onyekuru.

The teenage winger has had a fine season with
Belgian club KAS Eupen, attracting interest
from a host of clubs.

But Arsenal appear to have won the race after
reportedly agreeing a £6.8m transfer.

West Ham United have also been linked with
the Nigerian, but Onyekuru is thought to be an
ardent Arsenal fan and it looks like his dreams
of playing for the North London side will come
true after they met his release clause.

Onyekuru is the current top scorer in the
Belgian top flight with 23 goals, and top tier
sides Club Brugge and Anderlecht have
reportedly tabled bids, while Liverpool have also
had him scouted.

Celtic failed with a bid to sign him in January
as the Belgian side wanted to hold on to their
prized asset but now they could be willing to
let him move on.

After the interest from the Scottish champions
in January, Onyekuru admitted: "I have made
my decision to leave. I have already agreed
with Eupen that I am joining my new club after
this season."

Everton were thought to be close to a deal to
sign the Nigerian in January, but according to
Soccer Nigeria , his next club will be Arsenal.
