Akogun Kamorudeen Lere Oyewumi Finally Bowed Out of NPC After Five Years of Meritorious Service

The Federal Commissioner, National Population Commission representing Osun state, Akogun Lere Oyewumi finally bowed out of office after five years of meritorious service at the commision. At a brief ceremony at the National Population Commission Headquarters in Abuja, where Akogun Lere Oyewumi handed over to the federal commission. The Chairman, National Population Commission, Chief Eze Duruiheoma extols Akogun Lere Oyewumi as an experienced man who has served the commission diligently.He said "The good and vibrant image of the commision was upheld by Akogun Lere Oyewumi's leadership virtues and this indeed earned a pride of place among the Federal commission. He said further, that Akogun Lere Oyewumi also make appreciable progress in the dislodgement of cabals that have dented and ruined the image of the commission for a long time".

In a statement signed by his media team, Akogun Lere Oyewumi praised almighty God for the successful stay in office. He said Consciously or unconsciously, every one of us does render some service or other. If we cultivate the habit of doing this service deliberately, our desire for service will steadily grow stronger, and will make, not only our own happiness, but that of the nation at large. While he also advised the New Commissioners to be dedicated to the service. He said "You are not here merely to make a living, you are here in order to enable the commission a great instituttion, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and dedication. The more a man takes the needs of others on his own heart, the more he must take his own heart to God. May God help you during your stay in office too, Akogun Lere said.

The Director of National Population Commission, Osun state chapter, Dr. Sangodapo M O. on behalf of the entire staffs also expresses enthusiasm as Akogun bows out of National population commission. He said ''We are proud that under his great leadership, wisdom and guidance, National Population Commission has strive to much greater heights and laudable achievements. Akogun Lere Oyewumi, Congratulations on making it over all the hurdles and reaching that wonderful time of life where you get to do whatever you want. Enjoy a rest that's overdue, take pleasure in the finer things that are awaiting you"
