Reports have it that the management of Television Continental Broadcasting Service owners of TVC News, TVC Nigeria, TVC Entertainment and Adaba FM (Ondo) has relieved 145 staff from its workforce.

It was gathered that the reporters of the company located in various States in Nigeria were served their letters under heavy security presence at the Magodo corporate office of the company.

Affected in the sack, are some pioneer staff of the broadcast outfit, InsideMainland gathered.

No reason has been disclosed to be behind the mass retrench of workers as at press time.

Meanwhile, it was learnt that there is heavy presence of security men and bouncers around the Television Continental Broadcasting Service office in anticipation of a protest by the retrenched workers.

TVC is an arm of Television Continental Broadcasting Service which also operates an urban radio station, Radio Continental.
