GIONEE A1 REVIEW 
Gionee A1 is another new series of device manufactured by Gionee, the smartphone which was released on April 2017 is targeted at selfies lovers and instagram enthusiastic. 

The mid-range device features a premium body design, bigger selfie camera with front flash light, robust battery capacity  and improve processor for better performance. 

Design and body

Gionee A1 sport a classic design with metallic chassis, the device looks slim with a body thickness of 8.3 millimetre.  This ensures it fit into the pocket well and also doesn't slip out of hand when it is handled. 


The curve edges and antenna lines makes the device stand out, the finger print scanner is embedded in the home button, with gionee traditional navigation button by it side. 

The volume and power buttons are located at the right hand side of the device, with  3.5mm Jack at the top and USB 2.0 charging port at the bottom. A1 also features stereo speakers at the bottom of the device to give it quality sounds. 


The over all design of A1 is superb, and can match any premium device out there. It is also available in Black, grey and gold color with different price tag. 


Display and operating system


Gionee A1 crams a 5.5inch AMOLED capacitive screen with a full HD resolution of 1080×1920 pixels, and a pixel density of 401 PPI that ensures good viewing angels while watching movies without colours fading out,the screen is protected with a corning gorilla glass. 

It will interest you to know that, the device boot on the latest Android 7.0 operating system from the box, it is laced with the company Amigo 4.0 skin to give the smartphone a beautiful user interface. 


Hardware and storage

The performance is enhanced by a powerful  octa core MediaTek MT6577 Helio p10 processor,the CPU  speed is clock at 2.00Ghz and paired with a ample 4GB RAM to ensure smooth performance. 

Apart from being a selfie device, the A1 can also handle graphic games thanks to Mali-T860MP2 GPU. 


Users get a whooping 64GB on board storage capacity to save files such as music, videos, photos etc, the storage is expandable up to 256GB via micro SD card. 

Camera

The camera compartment is the main selling point of the gionee A1 smartphone, it comes with a 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 rear shooter with LED flash, f/2.0 lens and auto focus.  

The front camera crams a massive 16-megapixel camera with LED flash to enable users take clean shot even in low light environment.
