Our psyche embraces foreign language and religion and as well mode of dressing without second thought but we struggle hard to accept the individuality and independence of feminity or the expression of its form in society. Any society that desires grace and beauty must also embrace feminine energies and creativity. Dance as an expresiion of graceful form and harmony must be encouraged and endowed for the diverse society, it is as aesthetically beautiful to the eyes as music melody is to the ears. Yorubas in particular must champion the acceptance of professional dancers in our emerging society. Traditionally Yoruba had professional dancers that performed and toured with band troupes through our urban centers. Times have changed, habits have changed, perception has grown, Kaffayt is the new age professional dancer, in same category as Davido or Wale who are known as career musicians....they are all entertainers and artistes and deserve our respect.

Respect is earned not deserved.

TELL me why I should respect Davido? Because he's rich? Because he sleeps with different women and gets them pregnant? Because he sings what rarely make sense? Just tell me.

Dancers should know that many people frown at nudity no matter how perverted our society is. Going unclad/half Unclad are not dancing steps. Let them wear cloth.
