Hi people, does anyone know the real 'racket' that exsists in Canada? Like Dublin a few years ago where you could have a child and be given residency, does this obtain in Canada? I am aware that of Ireland has been scrapped, but what obtains in Canada, is it the 'aduro' system.

Canada has nothing as such. You should just apply for the PR and wait to hear from them

@waxien, once u marry withey u go get the stuff under one year. Even if u marry permanent residence u go get the pr. There are lots of naija pple here wey hold pr. Its not that difficult

if you have your baby in canada, you wont have any stay. the child would however have canadian citizenship under the principle of 'son of the soil' practiced by almost all south, north, central Americans and the carribeans nations

But you as the parent get nothing

Getting the visa to Cananda is quite difficult, how does one get into Canada? I know these are more questions, but its said that information is power. Pls inform, or if there is any other Country out there that will issue citizenship to child it will be most helpful.

Babes, Getting Pr in canada isn't pure water or biscuit. But don't be discouraged nothing is impossible and truely information is power. Canada is a beautiful country with a good economy and also a very friendly policies to it's citizens aswell as people on tourist. There are few ways to obtain the pr status the so far easiest ways are either being officially employed or a marriage with a citizen "but must be genuine" the marriage process are being verified to make sure it ain't bogus. At least you must have known the spouse for upto atleast a year. And also you need to substantiate in regards of how you communicates in that medium of 1year. E.g emails and some other verifyable means. Hope it helps

Whatever you do, make sure it is legit otherwise you will be running for the rest of your life. Things are tighter these days, every country is closing up more than ever even though it is still a global village. It will be easy if you have something to offer, nobody wants liability.
