How Nigerians React To Greetings by mykel25(m): 10:30am On Jun 08, 2017 |
I saw a post of how Nigerians react to how are u... And I thought of this one Me: good morning Elderly person: morning Me: good afternoon Elderly person: afternoon I have studied this trend I noticed they intentionally remove d good as a sign that they are responding to a greeting from a younger one.... It so common with d Yoruba tribe because of the Eh Ish dey often add as sign of respect when greeting in Yoruba buh then other tribes do it. What is wrong in wishing anyone a good morning or good afternoon.... What's your take on this? How do you feel if someone reply your greeting without adding d word "good"?......to me I get pissed buh always manage to hide d feeling |
