A soldier shot a civilian at command Junction which sparked riots from the youths there.



Eyewitness accounts said that a soldier shot a young man that was scavenging for sand where an army checkpoint is.

Youths in the area had to take over the Nnamdi Azikiwe express road in Sabo.

They set up bonfire but police and army officers have come in to quell the tension
