Why do interviewers often ask the question, 'do you live alone or do you live with your parents? '. Is there any underlying knowledge they intend to derive from such question? And how important is the answer you might give?

I deduced from interviews that this question is basicaly for people in Lagos....your employer wanna be sure you can make it to work always and a forn of assurance you won't come teling dem you can't make it to work cos your wicked aunty has thrown your stuffs out
