Armed robbers with teenagers numbering about four invaded an Uselu community near the market breaking into various homes and shops and carting away with cash and valuables of residents.
Luck however ran out on one of them when he attempted to come and recover their loot and slippers he left behind after they were chased by a resident.
When interviewed, the 15years old boy confessed that he gave the slippers to one of the fleeing bandits to wear. The items recovered are beverages looted from a locked shop. The others are at large.
To avoid jungle justice, he has since been handed over to the Police for investigation. Preliminary investigations has led to the arrests of 3 other gang members from their hideout. Items recovered from them are mobile phones money and other valuable items.
