Founder and head pastor of Living Faith Ministries certainly has some people to thank for bringing him closer to God and how he has become one of the most talked about pastors in Nigeria.

In Bishop David Oyedepo's biography, although he was born into an interfaith family (his father was Muslim and his mother a Christian) he got converted by a missionary teacher, Betty Lasher in February 19, 1969.

His father Abraham Oyedepo a muslim healer and imam also converted to Christianity​ , died in 2004 at the age of 102.

The popular pastor's mother, Dorcas Morenike Oyedepo worked as a Sanctuary Keeper at her son’s ministry until her death in 2011 at the age of 97.
