Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, has dropped striker Henry Onyekuru and midfielder, John Ogu, from the starting eleven that will face Bafana Bafana in the 2019 AFCON qualifier on Saturday evening.

Goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi has also been included in the first eleven, as he regains his place from Ikechukwu Ezenwa.

Central defender, Chidozie Awaziem, makes his debut for the team ahead of Kenneth Omeruo.

In the midfield, Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo as well as skipper Onazi Ogenyi would hold the centre, while Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi and Moses Simon are in the attacking position, even as Ahmed Musa is dropped to the bench.

Goalkeeper: Akpeyi;

Defenders: Shehu, Awaziem, Ekong, Elderson;

Midfielders: Onazi (c), Ndidi, Etebo;
