Responsibilities -
The duties and responsibilities which a media consultant has to fulfill are as follows:
*The media consultant first of all has to study the working of a company.
*He or she has to evaluate the products of the company for preparing positive press notes.
*It will be also the responsibility to organize meetings with representatives of the press and making press releases.
*He or she always has to try for increasing the client base so has to make efforts towards building a positive image of the company in the media.
*He or she has the duty to take steps to keep up the good image of the company.
*He or she has the responsibility to form publicity campaigns in the television, radio, print media and social media on the internet.
*He or she needs to collect the feedback about the company.
*He or she has the responsibility to build positive relationships with media houses.
Requirements and Skills
The skills and specifications required in a person to do the job of a media consultant are as follows:
*The person needs to have excellent knowledge about media and publicity campaigns to do the job of a media consultant.
*He or she should be excellent communicator and should have the skills both verbally and written.
*He or she should have excellent public relations skill.
*He or she needs to be very creative and should have artistic mind so needs to have excellent ability to write creative press notes and press releases.
*The person should be able to work well under high stress and those conditions.
*The person needs to have required creativity and innovation in formulating media campaigns.
*He or she should be able to handle high pressure situations while attending media conferences or pres releases.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
OND/HND/BSc in any related field of study

less than 1 year

Details
The media consultant is someone who is a person who helps in the growth of media houses and companies. He or she needs to provide sales, marketing and publicity recommendations. He or she has to work for projecting a positive image of the company before the media personnel. The job entails interacting with media persons to make press releases. It will be the responsibility to ensure that the company enjoys positive reviews from the media.
