How Do You View POS Services In Nigeria And Your Experiences by Mrkumareze(m): 6:47am On Jun 13, 2017 |
The use of POS in business places has increased in recent times with people having different experiences. My bad experience so far was the day I refilled my car tank @ Rainoil filling station where POS was stationed for optional payment. I bought fuel of #6,500 so i decoded to make use of my UBA card, several attempts made was not successful with the card so I decided to try my Diamond which also could not go well as there was no printout. At the end, I managed to pay from the cash I had with me. My greatest surprise was when I discovered via e mail my two account was deducted for that very transactions . 13k from diamond and 6,500k from UBA. I rushed down to the filling station only to be told to consult my bank or wait for refund. It was weekend and a before my trip to my base abroad. I had to consult the two banks via calls, diamond promised to make inquiries and UBA demanded for a decline slip from the transaction which was never printed by the POS machine. In about two weeks time, Diamond refunded my 13k while UBA left me unattended to. It was a sad experience, would like to read your reactions and experience ### |
