The House Of Representatives, has welcomed a motion seeking to immortalize the late Chief Moshood Abiola, who won the controversial June 12, 1993 presidential election.

The motion was raised by Honourable Member, Sani Zorro representing Gargarwa Federal constituency of Jigawa State.

He noted that the immense impact and implication of the election will forever linger in the minds of Nigerians.
This was backed with a resounding voice vote from other members who also supported the motion.
